surfin.

so. surf season is on its way in on the north shore...the waves are gaining fast, and so before things get too huGE, i decided to get out and give it a try...

last night after dinner, a bunch of us went down with surf and body boards, and attacked the ocean...first let me just point out how UNGRACEFUL i am in the first place, and here i am on a surf board, waves breakin' like crazy, and i'm expected to get up and stand on this thing??? ha!

lets just say it wasn't all that pretty. then of course i started freakin myself out cuz i thought i saw a shark...and i still think i DID! (just a lil one though) so i got out SUPER quick, and hung out on shore like a poser for a while :)

then i got into the body board thingy's...the ones that you can throw down on shore and kinda skate/surf? i love that! except balance of course comes into play with that one too...so i have some pretty big bruises and sand burn from wipin HUGE on the beach...

all in all a seriously good time! we were out there past dark, and when we came in, i think we must have been at least 15 pounds heavier from all the sand in our suits..! fun dilly though...

anyways...gotta jet...i'm off to the other side of the island to do some snorkeling today! should be awesome!
