and it has started...

so...majority of the time spent since i got here has been chillin out, explorin the town, beachin it and getting to know all the people here...it has been seriously AWESOME...but it's also set me into a bit of a vacation mindset, and i really just want to start my courses and get school goin!

just a rundown...today we got up, had breaky with the whole base, hitched into town to go to walmart, and then spent the afternoon at the beach. i ate the BEST mango and cream ice cream, and had an incredible raspberry italian soda! oie...i love the cafe's here...

ANYWAYs....
tonight was opening ceremony...so we all got together at the church and had an introduction to everyone officially, and the directors spoke to us a bit about what was on their heart for the students and what is to come...it really just got us all pumped up and ready to soak in as much of God as we can get! i am sooooooooo ready for this! its incredible!

so our leaders made a small announcement after the ceremony that our courses will actually start tomorrow at 6AM when we are to meet with a bag packed (specific, and simplified to what they will allow) and ready for our EXODUS! its the first part of our course, and its gonna be crazy! we are going into the jungle with the absolute minimum amount of stuff...we aren't even allowed to bring a toothbrush!!!! they haven't told us for how long, but the rumour is that it is like 5 -10 days!!! CRAZY!!! i am really excited about it though...sp if you don't hear from me, or don't get any updates in the next week or so...don't worry! i'm in good hands when i'm in God's hands!

but i should go cuz i have to get up in 5 1/2....EWWW...and maybe sooner! and its like 5:30 am canadian time...oie!
