wow. wow. wow.
i am actually here! i keep doing that...having sudden realization that i am in Paia, Maui, and i'm here for 6 months! it's hit me...but hasn't really...but i am LOVIN every minute of it!
the flight was pretty awesome...the first 45 minutes out of Toronto was EXTREME turbulance, and i thought i was gonna be sick...but i just stayed calm and prayed and things calmed down.
so i flew into phoenix, and found my next flight...and right after i boarded the plane, i met Lindsay, and got a WHOLE row of seats to myself! i sprawled and PASSed out...it was a good flight.
so getting here was awesome, and being here is even better...lindsay turned out tobe my roomy...and we have the CUTEST little room for just the two of us...most of the other gurls have to share between four, so i am SUPER thankful for that. i felt at home RIGHT away, and had a really good sleep last night, so i'm feelin good about everything today.
it's really cool because as soon as i got here, i knew that this is where i am supposed to be. I feel a complete peace in my heart, and know that God has amazing things planned for me. even words that were given to some of the leadership staff before i came have just confirmed that GREAT things are going to happen in my life and my heart, and the lives of the people around me :) i'm SO EXCITED!
this morning we had a worship service, which was completely anointed and SO awesome...i loved even just being in a room with all these people from all over the place, that love God as much as i do, and have the same desires in their heart. its amazing how close i already feel to everyone.
a few of us went to the cafe and then down to the beach after the service...we just sat there and had REALLY good conversation. it wasn't just a "so where you from?" kinda thing, it was like i had known these gurls FOREVER.
everyone has been telling me that this is the way i would feel once i was here, and i knew that there were right, but it is just really AWESOME to experience it and KNOW that i am exactly where i should be, at the right time, and with the right people...God is incredible with His timing, and i'm SO thankful that He has brought me here, both physically and spiritually. oie. i love Him.
k so i gotta fly...sorry if this is all over the place, but i'm still a little all over the place...;)
there will be new pics on my site too...and i'll be sure to keep posting more...

hey jes :)thanks for signing my guestbook :) i'm so pumped for you! i was tickled pink to hear how you got there safely and are flourishing in maui and that you're feeling so at "home" there and lovin' it and knowing God has you there in His will.... :) ya! that's so awesome! you are awesomeness too and i'm so glad God intertwined our lives even from a distance. but i'll be closer to ya in a few weeks haha!! and maybe God'll hook us up with some moola for a weekend trip to meet up or something? blessings, ali
