youth retreat...

so i just got back from the youth retreat for our church...mel, jer, and i took six of the kids up to the cottage from thursday to sunday. wow. awesome time. we had so much fun! these kids are SERIOUSLY HILARIOUS! we laughed a LOT! and the weather was perfect...

but really...i wasn't sure what to expect at first cuz i have never really helped out at a retreat, and didn't really know how to fill my role...but I was there, and ready for whatever was to happen. and i ended up feeling almost like one of the kids...not only did I have an awesome time, but i feel like God used this time to reveal some things to me too...i really feel refreshed and renewed in my spirit, and i feel like the messages given by jeremy were for me too. I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS! i love when God uses the times we least expect to speak directly to our hearts! and don't worry I will be rambing on about that a little later...

anyways...it was nice cuz there was a smaller group...katrina, andrew, zach, janna, leanna and kieran (sadly missing jacob, gord, and jacquelynn). probably my favourite group of kids. and it was really cool to watch their personalities REALLY come out...CRAZY AWESOME! They each have such a uniqueness, but they all get along so well, and its their uniqueness that really adds to their friendships. we had so much fun! and i have soooo many pics!

i really feel kind of all over the place right now...cuz we JUST got back, but i have SO much i want to share...just even what God has been doing in my heart...so i will write a little later, once my head is back in alliston :)

as for now...i'm trying to copy my pics, and they're not really working...we'll see how it goes. and its HOT! so i need to swim...
