update...

hey all! yes i am still alive...!

super busy! it seems that the only time i have had to sit and write ANYTHING is right before bed, and i usually end up passin out...sorry i haven't kept up with the updates, specially since so MUCH is happening!

last week i was sick a lil bit. but that passed and it ended up being the best week i have had spiritually since i have been here! a little tough...but completely AWESOME. for those of you who shared the word FREEDOM with me before i left...this was my week for it! looking back i can really see the entire process God has been taking me on, and even when i thought i had come to a point where i had overcome...God brought me into an even DEEPER level of freedom! i promise i will explain more when i get a chance to really write something out...

this past weekend was my friend leah's birthday, so we all rented a beater truck, and toured around the island...we had an awesome time with just some of the gurls hangin out...hit up some resorts...laid on the beach. snorkeled a bit. pool hopped a little...and pretty much just pretended to like MAD for a while. it was goooood.

this week will brillinger is speaking to us about world views...some of ya'll know will...he's from the motherland. friends with the laverty's...... anyways! he's a real cool guy! got a head FULL of stuff...and an anointing to share it with others. SO we're soakin it up. last night we watched to movie "the village" and discussed it. i didn't realize HOW MUCH it mirrors certain outlooks to life that we don't ever really think about....the writer is actually a christian, so that was kinda interesting...but yeah. i've never really watched a movie so analytically before...it was amazing some of the stuff we were picking up on...

this week is also angel-mortal week here on base...pretty much meaning we all pick someone's name out of a hat, and they are our mortal, and we are their angel, and we do little things to bless them and surpise them throughout the week...its super fun! we've been gettin really creative...

tomorrow is Ohana dinner, 80's style. everyone will be decked out in their 80's finest...i unfortunatly will probably not be, as i was not lucky enough to hit up a certain second hand store :( but i'll be sure to take some kicken pics and post em up!

i do have more pics that i wanna post even now...but i will have to wait till i have more time...

as for right now...i REALLY want to go to sleep...so i'm gonna. my alarm is set for 5:45...ewww. tryin to get in better shape for NEPAL and it's giNORMous mountains...been joggin...we'll see.

i think i might have missed a few birthday's ... happy birthday KIERAN INGRAM, and ZAC ST JULES! hope ya'll are feelin awesomely older! :)

joshijah...i heard you gotta TOOTH! i'm tellin you boy...don't do anything TOO awesome till i am present to witness to it! :) kidn...miss you!!!
