Jesus is the exact reflection of God...
we are called to be like Jesus. therefore we CAN be like Jesus.. He is the ultimate reality. instead of looking at the world the way we are so used to, and only seeing the death, and destruction, instead of always separating and evaluating everything...we need to start seeing things the way God sees things. He is the God of fullness and the earth filled with His glory means that His significance is present in everything. instead of objectivity, we need to start calling out the beauty in others and speaking to truth. don't give in to the lies that the devil has built up in people today. we need to change our lenses. there is fullness seeping into every area of our lives; even in the simple things...and we need to begin to see the Glory of God the way He intended it. we are created in His image, and have potential for so much more, but we are masked to the reality of it all.
we need to LOVE unconditionally. we need to live a life of accompaniment. it is so simple, and we have made it so complicated. It is not what we say, it's how we LIVE.
it's being available, its patience, and discernment. it's sometimes not saying anything, and trusting God. it's SHOWING truth. taking time to listen. it's saying the right thing, and not just something. it's faithfulness, and sacrifice in the FULLNESS of our being. it's letting go of prideful boundaries. it's losing our right to control. it's a willingness to journey. its no compromise. it's responding, not initiating. it's LIVING reality.
there is such potential for truth and fullness in our lives. we are created for it! there is so much opportunity to show fullness in Christ...but we are such hypocrites, and we say that we follow Jesus, but we don't live like we do...we speak the words, but our actions don't back up our beliefs...
i remember hearing my dad say, "if we believe it, we live it, and if we don't live it, we don't believe it..." that is what we need to live by...TRULY!
it's time to take hold of that, and live out our faith...not just putting on a show, but really loving, and seeing the world and people the way He does...
it's a reality. and people need to see the reality of Christ. there is so much LIFE and HOPE in Him. the world needs to KNOW!

Ya gurl...that is all so true. These days God has really been showing me too that how we live, although its better than it was...is still so far off the mark...I've been praying that He reveals to my heart the reality of living as Jesus did. Scary , really...so radical. But if we don't want that...what is there ..and are we really saved..yikes. Help us Lord. love you Jes...you inspire me.
